OVERVIEW:

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Catalog of Store Engineered Time Standards

  • Build and maintain a data catalog of all labor standards in stores including measurement criteria, method of collection, and results

  • Build and maintain a catalog of time and motion studies executed by our Store Industrial Engineering team – help design ongoing methods for data capture and evaluation

  • Ensure consistency and address data inaccuracies of time studies by looking for anomalies within the results through statistical methods

Workload Planning Data and Tools

  • Wrangle data across multiple internal datasets that hold workload (tasking) quantity data – centralize this data in an easily accessible database from which to conduct ongoing analyses

  • From consolidated workload data, render reports, visualizations, and insights showing how quantities of workload are ultimately impacting store labor and efficiency

  • Further, help in accurately rendering workload quantity data down to our store leaders – showing both quantity of work and associated labor allocation

  • Build KPIs and alerts from our workload data showing where and why stores may be over their labor capacity

Collaboration and Insights

  • Partner closely with our labor management team creating data flows to ingest all measured labor standards and workload into our labor and payroll modeling

  • Work with labor and industrial engineering teams to evaluate process changes through methods such as A/B testing, process evaluation, and modeling.  Provide feedback to improve store productivity for both operational and customer-focused processes

  • Partner with the Business Intelligence team to develop and create new reporting and KPI’s as it relates to labor standards and workload planning

  • Using database tools (e.g. GCP), process automation tools (e.g. Alteryx), and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI), create actionable, on-demand insights from our wealth of store and workload data. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree Analytics, Business, Statistics, Economics

  • 3-5 years experience Data Structures and integrations, data visualizations, process automation tools

  • BI Databases (e.g. Access, Oracle DB, Google Cloud, etc.)

  • Data visualization tools (Qlik, Power BI, etc.)

  • Process Automation tools (Alteryx)
