• Within Travelers Europe, the Europe Operations division is dedicated to enhancing customer and agent experiences while driving revenue growth and maintaining profitable underwriting results. Our aim is to foster a culture of innovation and efficiency throughout Travelers Europe. • The Operational Effectiveness (OE) team focuses on managing and enhancing end-to-end (E2E) processes crucial to our business success. We continuously seek opportunities to advance and refine our process capabilities, while collaborating with and influencing our business partners to ensure alignment with our Travelers Europe strategy., change initiatives and production priorities. • As a Senior Manager, Strategic Enablement (SE) within Travelers Europe's Operational Effectiveness team, you will play a key role in helping to lead end-to-end business process improvements for greater operational effectiveness and efficiency to enhance customer, employee, and agent experiences. • You will contribute to improving business outcomes by supporting and influencing strategic initiatives, ensuring operational continuity. This role may involve overseeing a team of business professionals or leading project teams to ensure alignment with enterprise and/or business unit goals. • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, you will identify opportunities to enhance business outcomes, influence strategy, and ensure seamless change management processes. Additionally, you will manage business professionals or lead project teams to ensure actions align with enterprise and/or business unit goals, assisting in developing and translating the business strategy for implementation.
What Will You Do?
- Proactively identify opportunities and issues through root cause analysis, active listening, and engagement with stakeholders spanning multiple teams, business areas, and processes.
- Identify and assess recommendations for process improvement opportunities, engaging key stakeholders to secure buy-in for implementation, and initiating and implementing large/multiple improvement opportunities.
- Own and optimise the performance of assigned capabilities, business areas, and/or technologies, collaborating with stakeholders to request and obtain the necessary tools, resources, and funding to maximise business value.
- Lead and influence the end-to-end execution of operational components for multiple/high complexity initiatives that have a broader impact across the line of business, including benefits monitoring and realisation.
- Assist in prioritising efforts and advocating for resource allocation.
- Coach team members on process improvement tools, methodologies, approaches, and foundational knowledge to ensure successful rollout and enhancements across all initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7 years of relevant business process management experience.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma and Agile methodologies
- Advanced organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and follow through to ensure timely completion.
- Thorough knowledge of trends, emerging platforms, and new technologies, with the ability to identify best practices and implement them into the organisation.
- Ability to quickly grasp Travelers’ business strategy and align objectives with enterprise goals.
- Exceptional data analysis skills to interpret trends and report insights and recommendations to business partners.
- Ability to understand business goals and influence others to achieve them.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to consult on projects and present information effectively to all seniority levels.
What is a Must Have?
- Relevant experience in operations, collaborating on projects, or working in a related field.
- Previous experience guiding or coaching others.
