What We Do

The Project Manager oversees one or more projects on an ongoing and regular basis and assists in the delivery of software products. This role supports software product development teams delivering critical business initiatives. Plans, monitors, and manages internal projects from initiation through completion employing Scrum Master techniques in an Agile environment. Additional responsibilities include project planning and statusing, risk and issue management, developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project, communicating project status and issues to team and management, acting to reduce risk and resolve issues. Coordinates with other projects and work groups.

HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE

  • Organize scrum ceremonies including daily standup, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Partner with Product Owners and Software Development teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Assist with refining and maintaining product backlog, as needed.
  • Act as a liaison between the team and others, minimizing interruptions to the sprint, keeping the team focused on delivering a quality product.
  • Plan and execute within the commitments and roadmap developed.
  • Assist the team through maturity of agile and scrum processes, improving delivery and confidence in commitments.
  • Independently oversee small to large projects. 
  • Coordinates project deliverables, plans and status reports.
  • Identifies appropriate resources needed and coordinates schedules to ensure timely completion of project
  • Creates project plans specifying goals, strategy, and staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, budgets, and allocation of available resources.
  • Facilitates status and milestone meetings with cross functional groups.
  • Conducts risk monitoring and controls during a project's duration to ensure ability to achieve expected outcomes, on time and on budget.
  • Works closely with end users, business technologies and others to understand and prioritize business goals and information needs related to the project.
  • Monitors project budgets including project cost estimates and forecasting.
  • Prepares project status reports and keeps team, management and clients informed of project status and related issues.
  • May be required to perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs.
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure

  • Generally, requires BS Degree in a business field or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically have 4-7 years of directly related experience
  • 2-5 years of using Scrum agile methodology
  • PMP Desirable
  • CSM (Certified Scrum Master) Preferred
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification preferred

Pay Range: $75,400 - $125,600 Annually

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.  Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
