This opportunity is part of our Career Comeback program within our Institutional Banking & Markets (IB&M) – Global Markets team. You’re an experienced investment banking or global markets professional who’s taken a career break of two years or more and are looking to return to the workforce. The program will start on Monday 10th March 2025.
Run over 12 weeks, the paid program is designed to provide you with re-entry support and training you need to thrive. At the end of the program, permanent positions are available based on your performance and motivation to succeed.
Do work that matters:
Global Markets is responsible for the trading and sales activities in financial markets encompassing Capital Markets, Syndication, Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income and Interest Rate products.
We are looking for an individual with relevant experience in any of these areas and will work with you to understand your skill set and career goals. We have potential opportunities across both our operations and support functions, trading and client-facing (sales) teams.
We’re interested in hearing from people who have:
Taken a career break of 2+ years and are interested in returning to work
Relevant professional experience within global markets and/or investment banking, ideally in a client-facing capacity
AFMA and/or other relevant Financial Markets accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, capable of dealing with a range of stakeholders
Permanent Australian working rights and are Sydney based.
