Job Purpose  

Develop and implement Key Accounts strategy for identified and selected Regional Key Accounts.

Company Interface with assigned accounts for all matters to ensure that both customer and company objectives are met.

Efficiently Manage accounts, develop long term customer relationships, understanding key customer requirement to create business opportunities to drive sales growth in line with company objectives.

Major Activities  

Achieve sales targets and gross profit contribution for assigned Key Accounts. Understand the account in depth via gathering information and data (own and competition, store and SKU-level, historical trends) on a regular and sustained basis Develop strategies and prepare plan to optimize account development and sales growth via detailed analysis of the sourced data Effective relationship management with accounts basis alignment on and execution of data & insight-based growth plans and opportunities Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to implement aligned growth programs. Individually responsible for deliberations, negotiations and end to end solution provider for assigned accounts. Ensure effective account coverage and constantly build on possibility of adding more accounts via wiring with the General Trade team Provide customer support on programs and build loyalty through continuous engagement with the accounts Run questionnaires, surveys with key accounts for optimizing efforts in customer satisfaction. Evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of growth plans on a regular and cyclical basis with the accounts. Responsible for adverse event and product complaint handling related activities at a local level including the collection, intake and forwarding the information to the Local Vigilance Representative). Adherence to all corporate compliance guidelines & corporate programs by self and team 

Key Performance Indicators

Sales growth at Accounts Account sales actual Vs plan Market Share at the Accounts (Total, Brand-wise) Spends ROI - Actual vs. Budgeted Results versus Actual vs. Budgeted Cost for spends done at accounts.

Ideal Background 

Education (minimum/desirable):

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited reputed educational institution. MBA from a Tier 1/2 institute.

Languages:           

Written and Spoken fluency in English and Hindi

Experience/Professional requirement:

5-6 years progressive sales experience with Min. 1 year in Key Account Management/ Modern Trade/e commerce/e retailing firms.

Experience criteria negotiable basis quality of experience
