The incumbent is to assist the Head, Branch Project Management in providing Project Management support for the establishment of new/relocated branches and BAU projects. The support includes design, collating CER, e-bidding, submission to TRC and actual renovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- To drive greater realism on job site planning and management and from the lens of quality and sustainability.
- To drive compliance of health and safety standards at site in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- To take lead on the development of Feasibility Studies, Project Briefs and Business Cases.
- To provide inputs and advice to project and design teammates.
- To be responsible for end-to-end project management works not limited to the below:
  • supporting the Head of Branch Project Management in ensuring effective contract management;
  • coordinating with various consultants, contractors and vendors including internal stakeholders;
  • collaborating with engineers, architects, consultants and etc. to determine specifications and scopes of the project assigned;
  • dealing with designers/draughtsman on fit-out plan and design matters for any renovation project;
  • preparing Bills of Quantity, RFP/RFQ/tender documents, project submission and approval and tender briefing with various contractors and vendors;
  • planning and preparing project master program, construction/fit-out operations and schedules ensuring milestone are achieved;
  • managing project site progress to ensure it is accordance with project timeline, budget and approved drawings including regular site inspections;
  • escalating proposed changes to cost or timescale beyond contractual levels and checking for possible effects on the Business Cases;
  • keeping track of work schedule for each project to ensure timeline and financial targets are met;
  • preparing monthly project control reports to ensure risks and issues are being tracked and mitigated/resolved and financial tracking on expenditure levels;
  • conducting and evaluating monthly project and post project review meetings to ensure benefits are realized with internal and external stakeholders;
  • being a liaison officer between internal and external stakeholders;
  • budgeting and financial planning based on approved Capex and Opex.
- To undertake any works related to projects assigned by superiors from time to time.
- To deliver the above responsibilities in accordance with the Bank’s policies and operating procedures.
Job Requirements:
  • Degree holder in Project Management, Engineering, Construction/Development related or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 years of working experience in project management field is mandatory. A people manager for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Candidates with CCPM or any relevant certifications recognized by CIDB or comply with the Construction Industry Competency Standard (CICS) are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Commendable oral and written communication skills is a must.
  • Well versed in project arbitrage cycle.
  • Skilled in project planning and feasibility studies.
  • High project cashflow and contract literacy.
  • Willing to travel regularly across project sites.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
