In this exciting role as the CAS Senior Program Manager, you will have responsibility for leading the co-ordination and execution of our IBP and S&OE business processes from an Operations and Supply Chain perspective partnering with CAS IBP lead and appropriate Global Operations & Supply Chain organization (GO&SC) stakeholders. The scope of the role includes working with our Value Stream teams, Manufacturing sites and Contract Manufacturing partners working to maintain service, quality, capacity, and compliance ensuring supply to meet growing customer demands in a dynamic market.
The CAS Operations Senior Manager will play a critical role in leading and supporting the execution of the CAS strategy in a dynamic and fast paced business environment and communicating effectively with commercial, finance, quality, regulatory, and operations leadership. This leader reports to the VP of CAS OU Operations and is a key member of the CAS OU Op’s staff; responsible for effectively executing end-to-end operations strategies and will be the key link between various functional areas from the CAS leadership team, to regional partners, to the GO&SC, enabling the early detection and resolution of issues. This role will collaborate with cross-functional leaders and stakeholders and relevant teams to align teams on our CAS strategic objectives.

A Day in The Life Of:
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Lead interface between CAS Operating Unit, Global Operations & Supply Chain (GO&SC) and other cross functional partners on CAS S&OE and IBP business process with accountability for operations inputs to S&OE and Global Supply Review.
Partner with GO&SC to ensure strong operational performance, meeting critical service metrics (Product Availability, Backorder and Backlog).
Partner with GO&SC, Finance, and the Inventory COE to achieve Inventory and SOGL targets.
Collaborates with New Product Development Core Teams ensuring stable launch metrics from an operations and supply chain perspective.
Responsible for and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Oversees product phase outs working closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, and Sourcing to minimize SOGL while converting customers and supporting the transition to new therapies.
Accountable for effective communication with key stakeholders and project team, including CAS Operating Unit (OU) Governance, GO&SC, team members, and functional leadership.
People management: assist with cross-functional team recruitment. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the cross-functional team. Provide management skills to lead, coach and support core team members as required to ensure solution success.
Deliver Operational Excellence drives continuous improvement of core business processes and systems to deliver better experiences for patients, providers, and employees.
Required Knowledge and Experience: Supply Chain knowledge an advantage, Lean Manufacturing and manufacturing flow knowledge and advantage, requires broad management knowledge and experience in leading functional and project teams desirable.
Typically has mastery level knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the job function.
Member of CAS Operations Operating Unit staff contributing to overall strategy
Ensure compliance to Medtronic’s policies.

Key Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree NFQ level 8 and 7+ years of relevant experience, or 5+ years of relevant experience with Masters degree
Preferred Qualifications: 5 years Organizational leadership experience. Experience building organization capability and leading through change.
Strong leadership skills and proven ability to build relationships and influence effectively indirectly in a large global, matrixed organization.
Strong ERP system knowledge with mastery Power BI an advantage.
APICS certification an advantage with strong MPS and MRP knowledge.
Medtronic Performance System and OpEx (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing certification).
Proven business acumen with general management perspective.
