Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a knowledgeable Business System Analyst to lead the evaluation, planning, and implementation of innovative technology solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior staff, and driving the adoption of emerging technologies such as blockchain, IoT, and AI. The analyst will ensure project initiatives align with organizational strategy, optimize business processes, and leverage the latest advances in technology to support organizational growth and operational excellence.

Software Requirements

Required:

• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies.

• Experience using development and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Office Suite.

• Familiarity with modeling and architecture tools relevant to emerging technologies.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of cloud platforms, especially Azure, and related tools such as Azure DevOps.

• Experience with automation, scripting, or configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

• Exposure to programming languages such as Python or Java, especially for technical evaluation purposes.

Overall Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development and implementation of projects involving emerging technologies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.

• Collaborate effectively with technical teams, product managers, and stakeholders to define requirements, scope, and deliverables.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster skill development and project success.

• Evaluate new technology solutions and assess their suitability for business process improvements.

• Stay current with industry trends, emerging tech advancements, and best practices, recommending innovative approaches.

• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.

• Manage project timelines, monitor progress, and ensure successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.

Technical Skills (By Category)

Programming Languages:

• Essential: Basic understanding of emerging tech languages such as Python, Java, or blockchain scripting languages.

• Preferred: Deep knowledge of AI, IoT, or blockchain-specific languages depending on project needs.

Databases/Data Management:

• Fundamental understanding of data structures, data flows, and databases relevant to emerging tech solutions.

Cloud Technologies:

• Preferred: Cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP, especially their services related to AI, IoT, or blockchain.

Frameworks & Libraries:

• Knowledge of blockchain frameworks, IoT platforms, AI/ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is advantageous.

Experience Requirements

• At least 8+ years in software or systems analysis roles, with experience leading projects involving emerging technologies such as blockchain, IoT, or AI.

• Proven track record of delivering innovative technology solutions that improve business operations.

• Experience mentoring teams, managing cross-functional collaborations, and translating business needs into technical specifications.

• Industry experience in finance, healthcare, technology, or manufacturing sectors is preferred; relevant experience supporting digital transformation initiatives is also advantageous.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Lead project planning, requirement gathering, and solution design for emerging technology initiatives.

• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including technical teams, management, and business units.

• Evaluate new technology options and conduct feasibility studies.

• Oversee project execution, including timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on technical and project management aspects.

• Conduct reviews, testing, and validation of new solutions, ensuring quality and alignment with strategic objectives.

• Keep updated with technological trends and industry best practices, recommending improvements and innovative approaches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Relevant certifications in emerging technologies (e.g., Blockchain, AI, IoT) are preferred.

• Demonstrated experience managing and implementing innovative technology projects.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Proven ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
