    About you and this role

    We are looking for a Senior Inspector to join our Maintenance team in our location in Terneuzen, The Netherlands.

    As a Senior Inspector you will be working within the quality system of the KVG which is accredited according the NEN-EN-ISO/IEC17020 and is applying internal DOW General Mechanical Integrity Safety Standard (GMISS) requirements.

    You will provide specialized expertise with regards to Inspection and Repair for pressured fixed equipment and act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and can work independently.

    In this role, you will deal with problems which are complex within a specific technology area to deliver value for Dow.

    Responsibilities

    • You will act as technical lead for an Inspection Team within the KVG in Terneuzen (3 - 4 inspectors + Documenter).
    • You will lead the Inspection Management Program for identified and registered equipment and piping.
    • You will develop, evaluate and approve the inspection methodology and inspection plans required for periodic fixed asset re-evaluations.
    • You will approve inspection plans and approve repair and modification plans prepared by team members.
    • You will execute inspections and approve inspections and inspection reports executed by team members
    • You take responsibility for correct implementation of governmental requirements (e.g. WBDA)
    • You will review and approve compliance inspection deferrals and repair deferrals.
    • You implement and sustain the Fixed Asset Integrity Work Process and GMISS requirements
    • You develop a strategic approach for Inspection Management systems and plans.
    • You assist with the equipment reliability strategy development and review for Fixed Equipment.
    • You identify and develop both technology and work process enhancements which deliver value for Fixed Equipment.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of a technical bachelor's degree plus engineering, manufacturing or other related experience.
    • 5+ years of industry experience in fixed equipment inspection and repair.
    • Fluency in both English and Dutch.

    Preferred qualifications

    • Obtained IKT3 diploma + SKO level 3 certification.
