About the job:
Red Hat’s User Experience Engineering team is looking for an experienced program manager who can work across teams to execute on product strategy. Program managers work closely with engineering and product management to ensure the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, as well as coordinate with other departments to align on deliverables and execution
What will you do?
Track and deliver status reports on the scope of evolving high-level goals, ensuring the teams involved are engaged in their mission to navigate them within agreed timeframes, while keeping stakeholders informed
Create solid, sustainable, and scalable processes and demonstrate excellent project management skills to guide execution across departments
Deliver product experience tools/apps/services, to make it easier for Red Hat customers and partners to adopt and use Red Hat products
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (UX, Web Development, Marketing, IT) to drive platform, publishing, workflow, and UX enhancements while managing the day-to-day backlog of the team
Work inclusively and collaboratively with a global team to solve problems effectively and efficiently
What will you bring?
3 + years of experience working as a technical program manager
Ability to manage more than one project concurrently
Experience working with engineering teams, as well as business and design stakeholders
Familiarity with Agile practices and ability to balance engineering and UX agility with longer-term stakeholder planning needs
Experience with Jira, Confluence, and/or Service Now.
