Position Summary...

Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.

About Team: 
 

At Walmart­, we are committed to leading the business side of technology – how we operate, measure success and enact change. This team focuses on that and also, areas such as Tech Services, Center Operations, CoEs, Transformational initiatives .

Our team is responsible for driving transformational initiatives, upskilling/reskilling of talent, build CoEs, design, development of programs and platforms, and program manage Chennai center operations. We interact with multiple teams across the company to provide scalable robust technical solutions.


What you'll do:

  • Talent Transformation Programs – Plan and design learning programs with academia and drive the end to end program management (Report, Governance & analytics) to track Learning Program’s intended objectives, training effectiveness and efficiency
  • Responsible to co-develop platform design,  process, roadmap, backlog and ensure that they are executed in a timely and effective manner.
  • Manage a platform team (Developers, UI/UX, Scrum master, BA etc), providing guidance and support as needed to ensure that they are able to successfully deliver the platform functional requirements
  • Data Analysis - Monitor and analyze Talent platform performance - Identify and implement improvements to optimize platform efficiency and effectiveness influencing the end user experience & satisfaction.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration & leading Change Management for all talent programs and platform

What you'll bring:

  • Any Bachelor's degree
  • 10 -15 years of experience any People function with Deep domain knowledge on Talent, management covering entire Talent lifecycle
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Understands broader objectives of strategic Talent programs at business / enterprise level and articulate the driving factors of the program as well as the expected outcome / targets.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects & competing priorities while balancing quality with on-time delivery.
  • Expert in presentation skills, Data visualisation & analytics and basic knowledge of Confluence and Jira

Preferable/Added advantage if the associate has:

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and practices
  • Exposure to platform design, development and management, preferably in a talent acquisition or human resources context.
