What you will do

We are looking for a skilled pipes tradesperson, with experience in light commercial and/or heavy commercial markets experience to join our team to work with the most advanced heavy commercial and industrial cutting-edge equipment. The preferred candidate must be a skilled craftsperson in their trade, and we prefer a minimum of five (5) years of actual, practical working experience in the HVAC plumbing, pipefitting, and/or mechanical equipment service/construction industry.  You may be required to pass a satisfactory examination as to your special skill.

What we look for

Required

  • Plumbing/Gasfitter, Pipefitter,  HVAC strong 4th year or Journeyperson status
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Experience in Prime retrofit Mechanical projects
  • Valid driver's license, appropriate licenses to work with refrigerants, boilers, and steam operational & service knowledge.
  • Pass criminal record checks for secure sites.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to oversee the installation of a project.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Preferred

  • 5+ years of light commercial /commercial HVAC / mechanical troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience in construction and service projects.
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of the mechanical systems.
  • Plumbing/pipefitting Certifications.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
