Merchant center team makes sure that Groupon merchants are able to login to their account and get details related to their campaign performance, voucher statistics, payment information and request help in case support is needed. We are constantly making improvements to our systems to make merchant center more efficient, user friendly and secure.

You’ll spend time on the following:

  • You will develop merchant facing applications for the Groupon microservice ecosystem

  • You will collaborate with teams in other organization to ensure that required business features and compliance rules are implemented effectively

  • Managing the full software development lifecycle from technical design to development, testing and deployment

  • Improving your and the team's skills through knowledge-sharing and hackathon

  • Create and maintain documentation for your projects

  • Mentor junior staff

  • Drive the discussion and decisions of technical topics related to the team

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • BE/BTech or ME/MTech degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

  • 3+ years of industry experience

  • Excellent coding skills preferably using JavaScript

  • Deep knowledge of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS (SCSS, LESS), JSON, Object-oriented JavaScript

  • At least one full lifecycle web application built with React + Redux & Node JS

  • Expertise in building scalable server applications and reusable modules in the  Node eco-system

  • Experience with build tools such as Ant, Ivy, Maven, Griddle

  • Strong debugging skills

  • Good communication and collaboration skills
