As a Senior Customer Advocacy Marketing Manager at Recorded Future, you will lead the way in highlighting our clients' success stories. By showcasing the value of our products through authentic client experiences and testimonials, you will inject customer proof into diverse marketing initiatives and drive the creation of high-impact customer stories. You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Success teams to integrate customer evidence into broader marketing strategies, supporting our product marketing, demand generation, and field marketing initiatives. This role is pivotal in enhancing our brand’s reputation and influence, and forming lasting relationships with our clients.

What You’ll Do 

  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with clients and internal teams to identify and nurture customer advocates.
  • Design and execute high-impact advocacy programs, including case studies and testimonials to support marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Innovate ways to spotlight client stories, leveraging creative formats such as video, social media, and digital events.
  • Drive third-party review collection (e.g., Gartner Peer Insights, G2) to bolster Recorded Future’s market presence and credibility.
  • Maintain metrics around prominent clients who use Recorded Future to highlight how many clients are on top lists (e.g., Fortune 500, Global 2000, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Legal to integrate advocacy commitments into client contracts and agreements.
  • Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Field Marketing to source and prep clients for speaking engagements, panels, and webinars.
  • Act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, providing strategic insights to shape advocacy programs that align with company goals.
  • Manage external vendors and agencies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality advocacy assets.

Expectations : 

    • 30-Day Goals: Understand Recorded Future’s client base, advocacy programs, messaging, and existing content. Build relationships with key stakeholders and identify immediate opportunities to enhance advocacy efforts.
    • 60-Day Goals: Begin building strong relationships with select clients and collecting customer evidence. Collaborate with internal teams to source advocacy candidates and draft a 6-12 month roadmap for the advocacy program.
    • 90-Day Goals: Deliver your first impactful advocacy assets, such as case studies or video testimonials. Cultivate relationships with 10 key advocates and present early wins with a plan for scaling efforts.
    • 1-Year Goals: Establish a scalable advocacy framework with a pipeline of client stories and 10+ new case studies. Drive increased presence on third-party review sites and show your measurable impact on marketing and sales.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience: 5+ years of marketing experience with a strong focus on customer advocacy, customer marketing, product marketing, content marketing, or brand storytelling.
  • Expertise: Proven track record in developing and managing executive-level client relationships and delivering measurable advocacy outcomes.
  • Strategic Creativity: Ability to think outside the box and craft unique, compelling client stories that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Demonstrated success in influencing and collaborating across teams, including Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Executive Leadership.
  • Communication Skills: Strong storytelling, program management, and presentation skills, with an aptitude for conveying complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to assess diverse data sources to evaluate advocacy program impact and inform decision-making.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the cybersecurity industry is preferred.
  • Autonomy: A self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision and excels in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
