We are a Series A SaaS company and provide the system of record for event marketing. Our software platform provides proprietary insights that helps high-growth companies find the highest ROI events, conferences and trade shows to attend and sponsor. We have built an AI-powered platform that customers describe as an event marketer’s dream.
Vendelux was founded in 2021, and our recent $14 million Series A was led by FirstMark, whose portfolio includes companies like Shopify, Pinterest, Discord, Airbnb, Draft Kings, Carta and Justworks (amongst others). Our leadership team includes alumni from Shutterstock, Bain, CB Insights, Button, ZoomInfo and Compass.
Our Event Marketing Lead will build and execute our events strategy across owned events, sponsored 3rd party events and other community activations with our clients and partners. Since Vendelux is the event marketing platform built for event marketers, we need our own Event Marketing Lead to set a new standard for innovation and ROI around events!
The Event Marketing Lead role is a full-time position and can be remote in a trade show hub like Las Vegas or based in our NYC HQ. This role reports to our Co-founder.
Responsibilities
Create and execute an industry-leading event marketing strategy
Use Vendelux platform to identify the best events to attend and sponsor
Generate sales pipeline from events while also deepening relationships with customers and partners across all IRL marketing activations
Oversee event sponsorships with 3rd party conferences (managing the events budget, negotiating sponsorships, generating ROI)
Run owned events like community meetups, happy hours and clients dinners
Coordinate pre- and post- event outreach and logistics
Collaborate with marketing and sales to ensure every event is optimized for max meetings with clients and prospects
Be a thought leader in event marketing and represent Vendelux on event best practices
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in event marketing at a tech company
Experience managing an annual events budget and generating ROI from events
Great team member who contributes to our culture and our business
Data-driven event marketer who can tie events to pipeline and sales (badge scans are not a good KPI)
Takes ownership and demands excellence from themselves and others
Likes a fast paced environment and is a quick learner
Results-driven and can prioritize activities with the greatest impact
Proven track record of beating goals and showing career progress
