The Wasatch Group is currently seeking an organized, self-driven individual to join the team at our Wells Fargo Center location as an office manager and accounting support admin. The office manager/accounting support admin will be responsible for a variety of administrative and facility duties, as well as support our Wasatch Guaranty Capital team with basic accounting and data entry tasks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The following list of functions is descriptive of the work to be performed but it should not be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, functions, or tasks that the job may require.

  • Prepare log of checks received in Microsoft Excel to provide to accounting team.

  • Enter invoices, bills, and receipts into accounting software.

  • Assist with miscellaneous data entry tasks as requested.

  • Answers telephones as a priority.

  • Greets visitors.

  • Opens front desk daily.

  • Closes front desk daily.

  • Handles all solicitors professionally.

  • Keeps reception area cleaned and organized.

  • Attends to client and guest needs by answering questions and providing information.

  • Verifies and signs for deliveries. Notifies clients of deliveries and obtains client signature for verification of package receipt.

  • Keeps client desk reference up to date.

  • Orders office supplies.

  • Operates office equipment; i.e. fax machine, copy machine, etc.

  • Maintains building security by reporting any violations to Building Security office; i.e. parking violations, solicitors on the floor, unauthorized persons in building, etc.

  • Any additional duties as assigned by direct supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Basic level of proficiency and experience using Microsoft Excel.

  • Willingness to learn and perform basic accounting and data entry tasks.

  • Experience using accounting software or entering invoices helpful but not required.

  • Pleasant, professional attitude and telephone manner.

  • Effective oral and written communication.

  • Ability to effectively handle various duties simultaneously.

  • Typing speed of 60 wpm

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
