Scopely is looking for a highly motivated and talented Creative Lead to join the Monopoly Go team at Flamed (Scopely’s in-house creative agency) in the Barcelona Office on a Hybrid basis (3x week)!

At Scopely, we care deeply about what we do and want to inspire play, every day - whether in our work environments alongside our talented colleagues, or through our deep connections with our communities of players. We are a global team of game lovers who are developing, publishing and innovating the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily.

Flamed is Scopely’s in-house creative agency, an International multidisciplinary team creating and building thousands of creatives every year to support all Scopely games' marketing needs worldwide.

What You’ll Do:

Monopoly Go is not the usual casual mobile game. It’s an entertainment brand with its business driven by User Acquisition and outstanding product experience. It’s not a follower brand, and the work we strive to make is innovative, intentional and super high quality.

We are looking for a creative leader that is able to ideate on game-centric concepts that showcase the game, minigames, live events, player emotions and motivations, and express it in short performance-driver assets. The candidate needs to have creative experience in performance marketing, UA and brand ideas. Someone that is comfortable creating stories, crafting decks and presenting concepts to marketing partners. Someone with an eye for detail and craft, able to drive constructive and time-sensitive feedback on production. They should be excellent communicators in English, both speaking and writing. And they must be great collaborators, working alongside a team of seasoned Monopoly Go creatives building concepts for static, video, social and trailers — brought to life in animation, live action and Gen AI with our Arts and Animation team.

  • As a Creative Lead you will work on high-profile, industry-leading projects that will challenge and inspire you, while also providing the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
  • Translate marketing goals into creative strategies, generate campaign ideas, craft clear production briefs, and ensure every creative initiative is purposeful, aligned, and effective.
  • Lead the creation of art and video content, setting workflows and style guides, and producing stunning visual assets for one of the most popular mobile game titles in the world.
  • Collaborate closely with other Creative Leads, Copywriters, Strategists, and our Arts and Animation teams to bring bold ideas to life, ideas that resonate with players, drive performance, and strengthen our brands. It means ideating, concepting, storyboarding and producing engaging and innovative content for UA and Social.
  • Partner with Project Managers and Producers to ensure briefs are well-scoped, actionable, and aligned with timelines, budgets, and performance goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing partners to review creative outcomes, extract learnings, and refine strategies based on data and insights.
  • Be a real team player, sharing knowledge, helping others, and building great work together.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI technology and incorporate them into processes and workflows.
  • Use insights and benchmarks to iterate on existing creatives and continuously improve their quality. A good understanding and expertise with UA KPIs and data dashboards will be very well received.

What We’re Looking For:

  • An ambitious creative comfortable with risk taking and ambiguity, and a learner at heart.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the advertising & art direction, preferably in the gaming/entertainment industry.
  • Curious and strategic with their creative decisions. The work you will do is always part of a broader strategy and understanding how to do it and present it is key.
  • Great understanding of concepting, messaging, motivations and ability to discuss creative, with all its subjectivity and ambiguity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Graphic Design, Arts, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Gen-AI and machine learning tools, from storyboard to final work.
  • Experience with 2D and 3D software such as Photoshop, Figma, C4D, or Maya. (not hands-on, but to inform production briefs and to be considered in project reviews)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and derive solutions to difficulties arising in artistic processes.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • The ability to drive an idea from conception to completion.

Please include a portfolio, Reel or PDF/links to examples of your work in the application.
