Job Summary
Responsible for following established procedures and performs detailed accounting assignments requiring a basic knowledge of accounting theory and principles. Work is subject to general review and under the direction of senior accounting personnel. Provides specialized or general analysis support in various accounting functions such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Cost Accounting, Property Accounting, General Accounting and the like. Reviews and analyzes journal vouchers, accounting classifications and other accounting/financial statements, records and reports.

Core Responsibilities
- Makes adjustments and closing entries, prepares profit and loss statements, inventory, receipts and disbursements, balance sheets, computes and distributes labor, material and overhead costs.
- Prepares calculations and payments for the company. Maintains work papers for prepaid and accrual accounts, as well as entering monthly journal entries. Assists with the internal and external audit process as needed.
- Assists higher level accountants in a variety of accounting assignments.
- Ensures the balance sheet accounts are accurately.
- Enters monthly journal entries to properly record accounting transactions.
- Reviews financial statements for operating trends and results.
- Calculates payments to regulatory authorities based on guidance from Manager.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Will primarily be responsible for the accounting of the Retail Operations. This includes:
Posting Daily Revenues/COGS from Retail Systems (Brick & Mortar and Ecommerce) into ERP (Netsuite)
Maintaining Vendor Relationships and Setup
Settling w/ Merchandise Vendors following Events
Calculating and Remitting Commissions/Tips for Retail Employees
Inventory Reconciliation
Assisting with Forecasts and Expense Management
