Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Submit marketing material (copywriting, web pages, decks, videos, renders, …) to the international Olympic Committee (IOC) through their extranet (TRACK) for validation
  • Liaise with MICO 2026 marketing team for coordination and pre-approvals
  • When relevant, follow up requests for modifications and material rejections with the International Olympic Committee for further clarification
  • Coordinate with internal teams to keep them up-to-date about the status of submitted material and, when received, to inform them about the outcome and possible modification requests
  • Communicate with MICO 2026 and the IOC to give appropriate background information to help them assess marketing materials properly
  • Make sure that brand guidelines are adhered to and that there are no identified issues with the marketing material submitted for approval. Gradually become the gatekeeper of guidelines for design and copywriting.
  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing Services, Head of Content & Production, Marketing Project Managers and the larger marketing team to identify upcoming material and prepare approval with appropriate action towards internal and external parties
  • Report approval progress in a shared document listing all material out for validation
  • Organize a clear approval calendar in coordination with the Head of content & production that is in line wit the production calendar   
  • Support the marketing team when needed, in particular with the collection, filing and sharing for approved materials and with any other task that may be requested 

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication skills
  • Fluency in English & Italian is required.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in working in a coordination role
  • Proven track record in working in a fast paced environment
  • Must be a strategic thinker, understanding the larger implications of her/his duties
  • Experience researching and using various collaboration tools/software such as Monday, Asana, Teamwork, Slack, Teams, Workplace, Zoom, Notion, Google Suite Confident, Microsoft 360 or similar
  • Presently resides and/or is willing to relocate to Milan, Italy
