IT Network Architect

Position Summary:

We’re seeking a proactive professional to help enable our team’s intelligence analysis for Federal Government customers by implementing a variety of technical solutions across multiple networks. The ideal candidate will be a part of a tech team supporting several multi-INT fusion teams working on complex and long-term technical analytic problems. This is an on-site position located in Charlottesville, Virginia, with the occasional opportunity for remote work, and with an expectation of both regional and national travel up to 10% of the time. 

Required Qualifications:

4-year degree or equivalent experience

3+ years of software development experience

Must be proactive and possess good troubleshooting skills.

Must possess some of the following elements:

  • Familiarity and experience with Cloud-based network development such as AWS EC2 and S3, Azure, etc
  • Proficiency with web development technologies such as Java, JavaScript, HTML, HTML5, CSS, etc  
  • Proficiency with Python
  • Familiarity and experience with deploying software using Docker
  • Familiarity and experience with database solutions such as Elasticsearch, spark, postgresql, etc

Desire to improve technologies, technical processes and procedures, and tools to improve functionality, user experience, and tool stability

Willingness and desire to learn new skills and technologies

Ability to translate needs from analysts and other non-technically minded colleagues into actionable technical solutions

Must have good interpersonal, project, and time management skills. 

Must be flexible to tackle various program operations functions once trained and delegated

Eligibility to obtain a TS//SCI clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

Current TS//SCI clearance.

Familiarity with large datasets derived from OSINT or classified sources such as SIGINT

Additional technical competencies:

  • Linux system administration and maintenance
  • Network+/Security+
  • Github/Gitlab
     

Responsibilities:

Implement and administer cloud infrastructure instances with the assistance of partners

Continuously innovate, running proof of concepts and assessing cloud partner 3rd party ecosystem solutions

Help identify the best use of cloud services to solve challenges

Help identify existing software solutions or custom workflows to improve processes or solve challenges

Work with CACI IT service components on their respective hardware on the program

Install and troubleshoot software, including Microsoft Office suite and a variety of open-source Linux packages

Familiar with Windows and Linux operating systems

Comfortable working directly with end users in a field management environment

Engineer and configure preventive, detective and reactive solutions in collaboration with Information Security and Security Architecture teams

Ability to interpret policies and laws in written and oral form

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100-$172,400
