Job Summary
The Crafts I – Journeyperson performs general maintenance duties / repairs as assigned.Pay Range
Minimum $26.21 Midpoint $34.72 Maximum $43.24Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
• Required: Minimum five (5) years mechanical equipment repair, troubleshooting, maintaining and building systems experience.
• Preferred: Over five (5) years of experience in a hospital setting.
Education
• Required: High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent.
Training
• Required: Trade school or on the job training with recognized service organization.
Specialized Skills
• Required: To include any of the following: HVAC, Electrical, Lighting Controls, Plumbing, Locksmith, Access Controls, Security Systems, Fire Alarm systems, Carpentry, Painting, Drywall repair, computer programming, water damage restoration. Strong verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal relationship and collaboration skills. Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English effectively at a level appropriate for the safe and effective performance of the
job.
Licensure
• Required: None required.
