About the role:

  • As a Release Train Manager, you will be responsible for handling multiple scrum teams to make them deliver the services on time." which includes.”

  • Accountability for PI execution.

  • Tracking progress and preparing periodic reports for management.

  • Facilitating ART events periodically.

  • Collaborate with Product Managers to refine product backlog and align with ART strategy.

  • Coordinate and collaborate with RTEs from other ARTs.

  • Develop, facilitate, coach and mentor multiple scrum teams across Capital Market Lending India team and PI planning. (Program Increment Planning)

  • Work closely with multiple scrum teams, internal and external stakeholders to get the release train engineering process carried out among the teams in a collaborative manner.

  • Act as a servant leader and meticulous carry out the release train engineering process across Capital Market India Lending team.

  • Strong in planning, designing, scheduling, testing, deploying, and controlling software releases. 

  • Strong in tracking progresses, facilitating periodic synchronization events, Support ART backlog refinement, Promote continuous delivery & assist Business owner in making sure the team has sufficient backlogs

  • A strong understanding of version control systems, continuous integration, and deployment tools.

  • Skills in troubleshooting & problem-solving from release perspective and to address issues that arise during the release process.

  • Work with the teams to escalate roadblocks, manage risk, clear impediments, ensure value delivery, and promote continuous improvement.

  •  Responsible for scheduling, planning, and controlling the Application & software's development and delivery process.

  • Strong in SAFe and Scrum principles, experience in transforming the teams to the agile ways of working.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with good networking capabilities.

  • The Capital Markets Lending Teams helps the financial institutions in:

  • business processes analysis, identify pain points, recommend best practices.

  • digitizing their business processes by way of designing workflows

  • designing the screens as per business needs

  • build and configure integration touchpoints.

  • Analyze and configure Financial Industry templates and risk grading models.

  • Data warehouse, BI Analytics and ETL 

  • Implementation teams also manage change, provide Trainings and testing support.

  • Team works on various technologies including cloud (Azure and AWS), AI and ML, Reporting through SAP business object and Crystal, API, Databases (Oracle and AS400), and Release management tools like Jira, SharePoint, Planview, confluence, MS Office etc.

  • The team operates in SAFe & Scrum agile methodology with multiple scrum teams across Lending India HUB.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop, facilitate, coach and mentor multiple scrum teams across Capital Market Lending India team and PI planning. (Program Increment Planning)

  • Facilitating planning, designing, scheduling, testing, deploying, and controlling software releases. 

  • Troubleshooting & problem-solving from release perspective and to address issues that arise during the release process.

  • Managing and responsible for version control systems, continuous integration, and deployment tools.

  • Leveraging the experience of his/her on SAFe/Scrum principles to mould the India PS Lending HUB in the agile ways of working.

  • Act as a servant leader and meticulous carry out the release train engineering process across Capital Market India Lending team.

  • Working and Collaborating with Development, Professional Services, Engineering, PMO, Managed Services team to carry forward the release management process meticulously.

  • Support ART backlog refinement – collaborate with Product Managers, Business Owners, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure the backlog aligns with strategy.

  • Escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement int eh ART process.

  • Plan and deliver work on a fixed schedule, which is determined by the program increment (PI) cadence.

What you will need:

  • Master degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

  • 15+ yrs exp as Angular & .Net C# Development.

  • Proficient Lending application Programs and Projects.

  • Basic knowledge on Lending Domain, which will be an added advantage.

  • Proficient in working in agile tools like JIRA, Azure devops

  • Strong understanding of scrum principles and SAFe

  • Strong understanding Release management in software development and Fintech world.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and via email.

  • Ability to communicate fluently with higher management and executives.

  • Ability to work in an agile development environment where developers and testing personnel work closely together to ensure requirements are met or exceeded.

  • Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and teambuilding skills working with technical and non-technical individuals.

  • Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team

  • Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements.
