Market Access Specialist - Portuguese Speaking countries

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Market Access Specialist to join our team in Portuguese speaking Africa reporting the Market Access Manager for the region. As a Market Access Specialist , you will play a crucial role in identifying and removing market access barriers, define and support funding channels and work on the right policies that support product adoption for Abbott Infectious rapid testing portfolio. Fluent Portuguese and English and geography location in the region is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

The Market Access Manager is responsible for developing a market access plan with execution map for the key current as well as future rapid diagnostic products, assessing the market and potential of the product in a given geography, to map out the different enablers and barriers to entry and then formulate a plan to provide a roadmap to access the total opportunity for the assigned product, though stakeholder engagement, development of advocacy to generation on evidence to influencing the regulatory environment in favor of the assigned product portfolio and ensure timely product commercialization

• Identify and prioritize policies impacting the French West Africa business unit.
• Engagement with govt., NOG’s, policy maker, policy shapers, program implementors, MOH and other ministries.
• Develop and execute strategies to remove market access barriers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including commercial, Marketing, Medical, and Sales, to create a conducive business environment.
• Lead market access plans for specific products, representing market access on cross-functional teams.
• Collect and analyze program data to support program delivery and results analysis.
• Support identifies funding sources for new projects at countries.
• Support program directors in providing data and evidence that support product adoption and funding.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English and  Portuguese .
• Experience in market access, policy, and funding proposals.
