OneDigital is looking for an emerging college junior or senior to join the Investment Team in the Summery of 2025. We’re looking for hard working, resourceful, analytical thinkers who are ready to contribute from the beginning. You need to have strict attention to detail, be a quick learner,  and enjoy working in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment. We’re looking for flexible, adaptable, analytical thinkers who bring a comprehensive knowledge of global markets and a strong interest in financial services. You should have excellent business writing, research and quantitative skills. You will spend days rotating through multiple departments within the Retirement & Wealth division and handle many projects simultaneously.  

JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY    

This 10-week, paid internship will give you hands-on experience at one of the nations’ fastest growing strategic advisory firms. In this program, you will have a wide variety of responsibilities within multiple departments of the OneDigital Investment Team, focusing on a path to employment upon graduation This position will be an in-person experience out of our Overland Park, KS office.  

What to Expect:  

• Gain exposure to multiple verticals across wealth management and work on challenging real-world problems 

• You will grow professionally and personally with an assigned mentor  

• Develop a deep understanding of markets and instruments used across them 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):  

• Develop an understanding of database structure and management, helping the team create programmatic processes to manage data quality and accuracy at scale 

• Assist in pre/post-trade analysis on individual client accounts as well as model-level trades across the firm 

• Become familiar with the OneDigital Investment Platform and how to implement strategies in client portfolios 

• Assist the internal research team with company and industry analysis on new and existing portfolio companies 

• Conduct risk analysis on platform strategies to monitor changes in short and long-term performance behavior 

• Perform qualitative and quantitative research on mutual fund portfolio managers to evaluate existing and look for new managers 

• Develop advisor-facing materials to help explain topical market events 

Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements:  

• Strong organizational and time management skills  

• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail  

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while meeting or exceeding deadlines  

• Effective written and oral communication skills across a variety of audiences  

• Must be self-motivated and disciplined  

• Strong research and problem-solving skills  

• Proficiency in Excel; programmatic languages are a plus (Python, R) 

 Education, Training and Experience:  

• A rising Senior with an expected graduation date of either December ’23 or May '24. In pursuit of bachelor’s degree  

• Comfortable with large datasets and quantitative problem solving
