Responsible for managing a team that performs advanced analytics and provides intelligence and/or recommendations to explain and enhance direct marketing efforts. . Conducts advanced analytic analyses, including both qualitative and quantitative to identify trends, variations, patterns, and insights. Ensures team members produce accurate and on-time delivery of analyses and recommendations. Develop and coach teams to be able to identify, manage, and escalate risk, and effectively manage risk within the teams you oversee. Must be able to operate in a fast-paced dynamic environment, must be comfortable with ambiguity and a self-starter.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with leadership to ensure an in-depth understanding of requirements and performance levers (KPIs) for each analysis.
  • Manages a team including hire/fire, performance review, assignment of work, and development decisions. Ensures team delivers deadline-driven, accurate, and insightful analyses and reports. Creates a culture that engages business partners through a collaborative approach to make fact-based, data-driven decisions.
  • Reviews the results of advanced analytical analyses. Identifies areas for improvement in an analysis or additional data that should be investigated and ensures team members execute. Identifies the need for consistent monitoring of trends and the needs to incorporate an analysis within a dashboard. Identifies the need for business intelligence in different areas of the business and assigns team members to gather and analyze the data.
  • Presents findings from analyses and makes recommendations to leadership.
  • Partner with the Direct Marketing team to explain campaign performance, identify audience selection and recommend improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or related quantitative field
  • 4+ years of experience in the following fields: econometric analysis, statistics, and/or forecasting, plus experience preparing and analyzing large data sets
  • 4+ years of experience using statistical and/or analytical principles, tools, and advanced techniques to solve real-world business problems, including the use of process controls to identify and track model risks and ensure model validation standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in Direct Marketing channels like Direct Mail, e-mail and credit bureau data.

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $88,500.00 to $149,300.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
