The Facilities team at Point72 delivers a high level of corporate services supporting our offices around the globe, including real estate, property management, construction project management, day-to-day operations, maintenance, and security.  The Finance Analyst position will report to the Leasing & Finance Associate and cover all European locations, including but not limited to, London, France, Poland, Italy and Dubai. This role will be based in London and will report to a U.S. based manager.

 

What you’ll do

We are looking for a finance analyst to assist with facilities real estate initiatives. Specifically, you will:

• Manage and track annual budgets, quarterly reforecasts, and long-term financial projections for all office locations in Europe, including monthly variance reporting,  five year capital plan updates, and senior management decks
• Design and build detailed workbooks for various services provided in the Europe region to track against annual budgets
• Manage lease administration process and communications with Finance and Accounting for all office locations in Europe
• Prepare financial analysis and presentation materials for ad hoc requests to support the firm’s strategic real estate goals
• Manage specific project cost tracking documents with regional facilities managers and outside cost reporting consultants for capital projects in the EMEA region
• Manage sublease income tracking and reporting and produce monthly invoices
• Collaborate with Facilities, Commercial Contracts, Vendor Accounting Operations and Procurement teams to review and execute service contracts within the EMEA region
• Help ensure landlord invoices are accurate, submitted, and paid in a timely manner
• Use Workday to for financial reporting purposes
• Use firm’s real estate software to provide updates for new leases, extensions, expirations, upcoming critical dates, etc.
• Conduct market research on the areas within our existing portfolio to remain up to date with the latest market trends and competitor activity

What’s required:

• Undergraduate degree from a qualified university
• 1-3 years of experience in real estate or finance related field
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and data analysis skills/experience
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards
