The Position:
Join us at GameChanger as our Senior Software Engineer in Marketing Technology, where you will spearhead the development and execution of our advanced marketing platforms and introduce technical marketing initiatives into our product. This crucial role blends deep technical expertise with strong cross-team collaboration, to innovate within our marketing technology stack and enable our ability to reach our marketing objectives. You’ll work to leverage and correlate our data as inputs to disparate systems within our stack.
It’s not just about data; you will become a driving force to extend our reach to more youth sports teams, their families, and communities.
What You’ll Do:
Work closely with GTM teams to understand their needs and translate these into innovative technical solutions that drive Marketing objectives and significant business value.
Implement a robust technical strategy for our marketing technology systems, ensuring they align with our business objectives and adapt to changing market conditions.
Design and refine the architecture of our marketing technology stack, emphasizing scalability, reliability, and security to handle increasing volumes of data and complex integrations.
Ensure the continuous operational efficiency of our marketing platforms, focusing on system availability, performance, and the integration of best-in-class tools and practices.
Build customer-driven product features that contribute to Marketing success.
What You’ll Bring:

A strong track record of being involved in product discovery activities.
At least 5 years of software development experience in NodeJS, including the development of integrations of external systems.
Experience with MarTech platforms (handling such tasks as: behavioral analytics, event tracking, conversion attribution, messaging channels, and data analysis).
Familiarity with managing in-app custom SDK events and understanding the lifecycle of app code bases.
You Might Even Have:
Obsession for data, evidenced with experience working with Data Warehouses (Snowflake) to share data with various platforms.
Passion for MarTech systems, tools, and platforms.
Generalist mindset, capable of working up and down the stack as necessary to drive results.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of crafting and implementing effective technical solutions.
Experience in using data-centric technologies to enhance marketing personalization and effectiveness.
Some experience building native iOS and/or Android apps.
Experience auditing, instrumenting, and expanding MarTech and AdTech SDKs in native and web environments, focusing on AppsFlyer and ideally Braze or similar customer engagement platforms.

The target salary range for this position is between $160,000 and $200,000. This is part of a total compensation package that includes incentive, equity, and benefits for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by several factors including experience, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We constantly review all teammate pay to ensure a great compensation package that is fair and equal across the board.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
3-6 years of software engineering experience
Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals
Track record of successful iOS projects
Experience shipping beautiful, high-quality apps
Passion and savvy working with the latest iOS tech
Comfort working in a multi-disciplined product teams
Outstanding problem-solving skills
Experience mentoring engineers
Our apps are written in Swift and have a Redux architecture using technologies like RxSwift and Realm. Experience in these or similar technologies is a plus
Your team will also be doing Android development in Kotlin, so having background there would be a bonus, but is not required
Our backend APIs are built with Typescript, Node.js, Redis, Kafka, and PostgreSQL and run in AWS. It's not required that you know these, but you should be open to full stack development
