Position Title: 2025 Guest Experience Call Center Intern_Summer

Division: Operations

Department: Guest Experience

Reports to: Guest Experience Call Center Team Lead and Guest Experience Manager

Position Summary:

The Call Center Internship is a comprehensive program designed to provide interns with a thorough understanding of all aspects of call center operations and the inner workings of the Guest Experience Department. Key areas of focus will include: collaboration with various departments to fulfill requests at all levels, data collection and analysis, direct guest interaction, goal development, and tracking participation in sales-related activities. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced guest focused environment.

Principal Responsibilities:

▪ Become proficient with Tessitura software program used for ticketing and tracking of guest and member transactions

▪ Work with Guest Experience Call Center Team Lead on associate training and development, rotation building, and goal setting.

▪ Assist the Call Center Lead with guest inquiries and ticketing requests.

▪ Learn the roles of Guest Experience Call Center Associates and Guest Experience Concierge.

▪ Help ensure proper organization and digitization of all Call Center files.

▪ Track, compile and research Call Center data for necessary reporting purposes.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Attend all necessary staff meetings and communicate concerns as well as solutions to problems.

• Report to work punctually, dressed in a clean, pressed, approved uniform and fully prepared for each scheduled shift.

• Support the Retail Team and Guest Experience Team as needed, to ensure that a high level of guest engagement is always maintained.

• Perform all other departmental duties as assigned within the scope of responsibility and skills required for the job.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED and similar experience preferred.

• Enthusiasm about being a team member at a new major performing arts venue with a strong visitor-centered community dynamic.

• Excellent attendance and punctuality. This role includes evening and weekend hours.

• Ability to be patient and flexible while also staying energized and focused on providing excellent customer service.

• Ability to multi-task.

• Ability to be a team player.

• Ability to use good judgement.

• Ability to recognize customer service concerns and address professionally.

• Good command of general computer applications and basic math skills.

• Minimum 6+ months of experience in customer service or related industry preferred.

• Prior experience working with computerized cash register system and accurately balancing a cash drawer preferred.

Hours: Interns are permitted to work up to 35 hours per week

Weekly schedule to be arranged with direct supervisor

Compensation:

High School Interns: $12.00 an hour

Undergraduate Interns: $13.00 an hour

Graduate (Master’s Level) Interns: $14.00 an hour

To qualify for bachelor’s or master’s compensation, you must be enrolled in an accredited program or have graduated from an accredited program within the last three years. Students will be required to submit a current schedule or official transcript.

• Physical demands: Position requires working in Momentary Galleries for prolonged periods of time. This position requires standing, walking and climbing stairs, bending and stretching, and physical stamina to lift a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted. Position requires utilizing a computer for prolonged periods of time with good eye/hand coordination. This position requires visual acuity to review written materials is required for this job

• Work Environment: The majority of work will be performed in Momentary and Crystal Bridges spaces with some outdoor assignments, as needed. Additionally, Strong communication skills and ability to interact politely and effectively with a wide range of Momentary members, visitors, volunteers and staff.

• Position requires ongoing flexibility in work hours due to events, staffing needs and other factors.
