As the Assistant, Employee Services, you will be at the heart of our HR operations, ensuring the smooth and accurate administration of employee data and benefits. You will manage a range of critical tasks across the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and payroll to superannuation and salary packaging. Key responsibilities will include:   

  • Ensure timely and accurate entry and processing of HR data in the University’s HRIS, supporting various employee lifecycle activities such as recruitment, appointments, transfers and payroll. 

  • Action enquiries received via the University’s CRM within service level agreements. 

  • Generate and maintain regular HRIS transaction reports, addressing any inconsistencies and ensuring data accuracy across all HR activities. 

  • Assist in testing HRIS system upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to HR operations and efficient incorporation of service pack amendments.

About You    

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification plus relevant work-related experience in HR and or Payroll administration or similar role, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience  

  • Demonstrated working knowledge and experience in using large HRIS systems with excellent computer skills using a variety of applications including Microsoft packages.  

  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills and the adherence to high levels of data integrity as it pertains to employment-related data and documentation.  

  • Strong organisational and time management skills, including the ability to meet  
    deadlines and manage competing demands without compromising on high standards of service delivery or quality

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both written and verbal forms, and a strong commitment to exceptional client service
