General Description: This position oversees comprehensive, system-wide patient safety and risk mitigation programs by developing, implementing, and evaluating the patient safety and risk mitigation program for the organization. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing patient safety programs to prevention patient harm, investigating patient events and identifying action plans for the resolution of all safety-related incidents.

General Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in applicable area, including healthcare management, risk/patient safety, compliance or regulatory, etc. required.
Experience: Two (2) years in healthcare, clinical, patient safety, regulatory, or risk management roles.
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) or Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) required, or attainment within 48 months from hire date. Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate Compact RN License (eNLC) required.
