What You Will Do:

As a member of the M&M Carnot production team, the Project Systems Engineer will be responsible for the system design, specification, and project management of industrial refrigeration control systems. This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

How You Will Do It:

  • Perform project management tasks associated with assigned projects and act as the main interface with the customer and our sales department

  • Review facility drawings and associated controls quote to generate the project specific control system specification

  • Analyze refrigeration processes, design and document proper control system operation

  • Coordinate specification review and approval with the customer

  • Coordinate shipment of all required submittal documentation, hardware and software for the assigned projects

  • Assist the production team to clarify the design and resolve open issues regarding the system definition

  • Work with field service technicians and others during startup activities to resolve issues involving the project deliverables and system definition

  • Assure that quality and safety standards are upheld

What We Look For:

Required

  • BS/MS degree in Mechanical Engineering, a related subject or relevant experience

  • Excellent wordsmith skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Ability to understand piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)

  • Ability to understand and document controls for industrial systems

  • Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects at once

  • Must possess excellent communication skills to support interfacing with internal departments, facility managers, contractors and various trades

  • Must have the ability to work in a small team

Preferred:

  • Project management experience

  • Experience with the Agile project management method

  • Experience working in a production environment making tailored applications for customer
