PS Category LATAM Senior Director

Description -

The Personal Systems Category LATAM Senior Director is responsible for overseeing marketing, operations, and finance activities for their product grouping/segment. The role devises growth plans and collaborates with teams for execution. The role also engages with internal and external stakeholders, addressing risks, and optimizing strategies to ensure competitiveness and compliance. The role oversees talent management activities and process improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities
• Oversees marketing, operational, and financial aspects of assigned product grouping/segment.
• Develops and manages short and mid-term plans to achieve market growth, revenue, and operating profit goals.
• Leads go-to-market team and develops strategies to support the execution of marketing, operational and financial activities, and identification of new product opportunities.
• Develops strategy with field sales teams, sales management, and other key category stakeholders on programs and product positioning to win business.
• Engages with key stakeholders to communicate category performance, present plans, and align on strategic initiatives to drive growth.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure a reliable supply chain.
• Facilitates collaboration with various internal teams from marketing, sales, and product development to align strategies and ensure effective execution.
• Identifies and addresses potential risks within the category, and implements mitigation strategies.
• Ensures adherence to the organization’s policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards within the category management function.
• Evaluates and optimizes category strategies and processes to stay competitive in the market.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

  • Typically has 15+ years of job-related and/or management experience, preferably in category management, P&L management, or a related field.

  • IT Industry experience preferably with knowledge of the PC industry

  • Experience in a customer-facing role

  • Strong financial acumen

  • Spanish Speaking

This role needs to be based in LATAM or Houston, Texas. Preferred locations include: Mexico City, Mexico; Las Fluentes, Mexico; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Lima, Peru; Santiago, Chile; Bogota, Colombia; Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The US base pay range for this role is $247,650 to $396,250 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).  Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
