The Boeing Company’s Information Technology & Data Analytics (IT&DA) organization is currently seeking an Invoice to Receipt Product Manager to join the Finance and Program Management Systems team in Bangalore, India.

The portfolio includes products and services that support sales orders, invoicing, and customer payments/cash collections businesses processes. This role will have great exposure and visibility at both the working and leadership levels across many facets of the organization.

A successful individual will understand the importance of collaboration with multiple stakeholders -- including business, segment/solution architects, vendor consultants and developers -- to drive innovative and sustainable customer experiences through technology that are critical to program capture and cash management.    

You will be responsible for meeting near term business priorities through enhancements and modernizations that pave the way for digital transformation capabilities; drive the use of new, advanced digital technologies with SAP ERP; and partner with the Digital Transformation projects to lead, design and develop solutions that seamlessly transition current systems with next generation capabilities including Enterprise Accounting Systems and High Radius Intelligent Receivables.

This role will have great exposure and visibility at both the working and leadership levels across many facets of the organization. 

This role will be based out of Bengaluru, India.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Owns the product roadmap for each product, including prioritization based on business impact and growth potential

  • Focuses on understanding and articulating key value propositions for users that also deliver value to the business

  • Develops and maintains productive relationships and partnerships with internal stakeholders, customers, employees, peers, and IT service providers; influences and facilitates agreements for mutual benefit

  • Provides strong organizational leadership in an environment of frequently changing priorities, high pressure decision making, and high customer expectations.

  • Collaborates across IT and with business function counterparts, responsible for the successful integration of a variety of systems, platforms, and architectures.

  • Acts as the initial point of escalation for issues or challenges encountered by the team.  Capable of effectively triaging and de-escalating issues with impacted parties

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Manages and integrates employee and management activities in the delivery and support of IT products within the Offer to Cash Product Family

  • Understands the software development lifecycle management process to govern the activities of the team

  • Model behaviors and demonstrate leadership that aligns with Seek, Speak, Listen and Do

  • Manages and provides developmental opportunities for employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION

  • 3+ years of leadership/management experience (team lead/project manager/manager)

  • 3+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership

  • 3+ years of experience in cross-functional leadership, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication

  • 3+ years of experience in Product Leadership, Product Operations, Product Management or Agile Project Management role.

  • Natural collaborator, with excellent communication skills

  • Ability to use data at scale, derive insights, and inform strategy

  • Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to problems with many constraints

  • Must be able to work collaboratively with multi-functional teams within Boeing and external partners.

  • Develop and maintain relationships / partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, and partners to develop collaborative plans and complete projects.

  • Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with team members across different cultures and time-zones

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience ) :

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding, and leading teams

  • 3+ years of experience using planning tools to build roadmaps

  • 3+ years of experience using forecasting tools to facilitate project planning

  • 3+ years of experience leading through organizational change

  • Experience with SAP or other ERP implementations

  • Background in consulting, product management, business development, or finance

  • Able to lead with influence, not authority

  • Focus on customer value and do not get lost in the details

  • Previous experience with accounting/finance processes and systems

  • Demonstrated willingness to aggressively learn new things

  • Knowledge and practical application with SAP ERP
