Purpose Statement:  Brand Experience Leaders are influencers, thought leaders and champions of the Plexus brand. They are accountable to lead strategic brand initiatives by deeply understanding the growth objectives of their assigned business areas (market sector/solution/function). They are strategic partners that are responsible for developing integrated activation plans that contribute to the overall results delivery for their assigned business area and Plexus overall. They prioritize executional excellence and work in close partnership with the leaders of their assigned business area to develop brand-building goals in support of lead generation, funnel growth and wins. This leader will foster strategic and collaborative partnerships across the Brand Experience Team and the broader organization to bring brand positioning and differentiated value to life.

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Champion the Plexus brand by partnering with the Sr. Brand Manager, other Brand Experience Leaders and the Brand Experience Manager to develop and implement effective brand-building strategies that are rooted in the global growth goals within your assigned business area (market sector/solution/function). Build and maintain strong, collaborative strategic partnerships within the assigned business areas to deliver a 5-star total brand experience that fuels measurable growth and builds affinity and advocacy internally and externally.
  • Develop and implement integrated, rolling 12-mo activation plans that are rooted in driving key business area objectives and overall Plexus success.
  • Lead and execute the lead generation growth strategy. Act as a lead generation expert, drawing from research, competitive intelligence, CRM and other customer/employee insights. .
  • Plan and execute industry-related events. Create and implement new ideas on how to better reach our audiences and key personas using various channels and content mediums to showcase Plexus' value proposition and thought leadership.
  • Measure key results. Demonstrate how lead generation activities and plans are driving to KPIs such as qualified lead generation, funnel growth, and wins. Leverage data to understand what activities are effective and partner with the Sr. Brand Manager & Manager of Analytics and Digital Brand Experience to determine when a pivot or new strategy is required.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field is required. MBA or pursuit of MBA is preferred.
  • Six (6) years+ of related experience in marketing, brand strategy and/or brand management is required; Two (2) or more years of related experience in the EMS industry is preferred.
  • Experience in developing digital and content marketing strategies and activation plans to deliver effective connections with target audiences.
  • Proven success in rolling out brand messages in a multinational, matrix organization is preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
  • Proven capability to lead in a matrix organization driving collaboration across businesses and functions.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence without authority across the organization.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and ability to pivot problems into opportunities.
  • Strong analytics skills and experience with diagnosing and resolving complex problems and translating to business opportunities.
  • Knows and understands how to create insight-driven personas, customer journeys and build brand activations plans in service to the overall strategic brand foundational tools.
  • Able to craft compelling communications to influence business growth strategies and develop into actionable plans that inspires emotional connections with target audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact with and influence internal and external decision makers. Must have strong presentation skills and the ability to represent Plexus Corp. in a professional manner.
  • Leader must be an independent self-starter with the ability to lead and work with people at all levels, including executive management. Must have exceptional organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks in fast paced environment and the ability to work with cross-organizational teams.
  • Ability to have discretion and understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality of all customer and company information.
  • Base understanding of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
