Support the pro-active management of risk within the India HR function, advising and consulting with HR functional leads to promote risk awareness, maintaining methods which enable identification, effective monitoring and management of risk, adherence to regulatory standards and strong governance. Contributes to the delivery of operational and regulatory risk management objectives for HR India and supports HR Risk team in helping HR carryout their risk management obligations in line with policy and regulation.

30% of the time:

Operational Risk Management: 
Support Global HR Risk in coordinating and performing risk assessment activities for India HR.
Support the timely and accurate Risk Event recording and escalations for India HR. 

30% of the time:

Operational Soundness:
Review HR inventories, process maps, and HR Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) that are impacted by Risk Events, Change Programs or other events which may cause them to be updated and reissued.
Contribute to the writing/reviewing of select policies and procedures in partnership with Global HR Risk.

20% of the time:

Risk Consultation:
With the support of HR Risk team advise and consult India HR functional leads to promote risk awareness and operational soundness. 
Review internal and industry best practices, risk/compliance guidance, champion 2nd line risk initiatives, and make enhancement recommendations to HR Risk.

20% of the time:

HR Risk Governance for India:
Support risk tracker or project management for controls remediation projects, as required for India HR.
Oversee REV remediation actions for India HR
Support HR Risk in facilitating responses to risk findings for India HR.

Required Qualifications

2-4 Years of relevant industry experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent (4-years)

Experience in operational risk, business management or audit function. Communication skills, English proficiency, Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in risk controls development and testing

Experience in leading projects and working with leaders across geographies
