We're looking for a driven intern to join our fast-moving team responsible for Dispatch, a cutting-edge workforce optimization tool built on Azure for insurance carriers. You’ll have the opportunity to work with top engineers, using technologies like C#, Python, React, and CosmosDB. This role is perfect for someone eager to grow in a fast-paced environment, where you’ll be hands-on with the latest cloud technology and help deliver impactful solutions quickly.

Job Qualifications:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in developing and maintaining Dispatch's core features using C# and Python to enhance workforce optimization for insurance carriers.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement cloud-based solutions on Azure, leveraging technologies like Cosmos DB, Service Bus, and React/React Native.
• Participate in agile development sprints, contributing to rapid iterations and delivering high-quality features in a fast-paced environment.
• Receives general supervision and guidance from more experienced team members.
• Follows department processes, procedures and client requirements; may make recommendations and/or implement improvements/ solutions.
• Participates in Internship Program activities and events to include: onboarding, educational activities, information sessions, product demos and social events.
• Provide general administrative support as needed.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master degree program pursuing a related degree at an accredited 4-year college or university, or equivalent boot camp program.
• Minimum three years of relevant coursework completed by time of internship or equivalent boot camp program work. 
• Preferred minimum 3.0 cumulative collegiate grade point average, on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent
• Prior internship or co-op experience preferred
• Participation in campus activities related to field preferred
• Demonstrated leadership experience through participation in on-campus activities, educational forums and/or prior work experience 

Skills

• Hands-on experience in backend or full-stack development using C#, Python, Typescript, and React.
• Basic understanding of React or React Native for user interface development.
• Exposure to Azure services or cloud development principles (e.g., Cosmos DB, Service Bus).
• Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of processes, procedures and products of Dispatch
• Ability to work within a cross-functional team and matrix management structure
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service orientation; strong interpersonal abilities
• Solid analytical capability; ability to exercise sound judgment; strong decision-making skills
• Strong attention to detail; high degree of quality orientation
• Strong organization and prioritization skills; ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment 
• Ability to take direction from multiple people; ability to flex to the work styles of others
• Ability to be a collaborative team player in a fast paces/changing environment; self-motivated and directed
• Solid project management capabilities; strong business acumen; strong fiscal aptitude
• Strong technical aptitude.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications, such as Word, Excel, Access, Project and PowerPoint.

37,700 - 52,000 USD
