The Opportunity:

CACI has an opening for a Senior Logistics Analyst to support food service logistics efforts under our NFL II contract at COMNAVAIRLANT, Norfolk VA.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform food service record audit reviews and report creation. Assist TYCOM staffs in conducting shipboard training and act as a Food Service assessor for Supply Management Assessments (SMAs) and Supply Management Inspections (SMIs).
  • Monitor the Food Service Officer financial statements, identify discrepant trends, and recommend corrective procedures and implementation of internal controls/process improvements.
  • Conduct assistance, training and assessments of CVN Food Service ns to include receipt, issue and stowage processes; general and private mess management; inventory management and procedures; food production, preparation, serving techniques and sanitation; preparation and maintenance of accountable food service records, both automated and manual; material checks to determine equipment deficiencies; general and separate mess Food Service Management (FSM) Systems; field messing; and battle messing



Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance
  • Typically has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management or related business discipline and minimum of eight years of experience in a combination of Navy logistics and Navy AIS management.
  • As a substitute for education, eight years of experience in Navy Logistics, AIS management, inventory management, and the functionality of Navy logistics and AISs. Education equivalency experience is in addition to the minimum experience of the labor category
  • In depth knowledge of CVN Food Service operations, to include but not limited to:  operating the Food Service Management (FSM) system, proper and safe operation of food service equipment including maintenance and repair.
  • Possess strong verbal skills to convey analysis results and recommendations.
  • Work independently.


Desired:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint).
  • Ideal candidate would be a former E9 (CS) or above with CVN experience and/or prior Food Service Officer experience.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$56,000-$117,500
