AirAsia X Berhad is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Executive to join our Accounting & Finance team on a 1-year contract basis. This role is ideal for an individual with extensive experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable (AP) environment who is looking to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced aviation industry.

Job Type: 1 year contract (renewal of contract based on business needs)

Key Responsibilities

Prepayment Reconciliation:

• Perform historical prepayment reconciliation and analyze discrepancies that prevent offsetting.

Vendor Reconciliation:

• Conduct monthly vendor reconciliation to ensure accuracy and address any discrepancies promptly.

Issue Resolution:

• Identify and resolve issues related to Accounts Payable by discussing them with the manager or shared service center as needed.

• Follow up on outstanding invoice issues with relevant internal and external parties to ensure timely resolution.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Maintain effective communication with colleagues, vendors, and other stakeholders to support smooth financial operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of working experience in a high-volume AP environment is essential.

• Experience in accounts payable reconciliation is mandatory.

Skills:

• High attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proficient in Oracle or similar accounting software is preferable.

• Meticulous and a self-starter who can perform under pressure in a challenging environment.

• Able to maintain high confidentiality, with a tactful and discreet approach when dealing with sensitive matters.
