Job Description:

Our next classes start in January of 2025.
We’ve got you covered with a variety of shifts. We are currently hiring for schedules with start times that range between the following hours:

  • 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM EST (OH, PA, NJ, MD, DE)
  • 6:00 AM - 12:30 PM MST (AZ, UT)


Note: Shifts are Monday - Friday with weekends as assigned.

What You’ll Do

  • The first point of contact for general inbound calls and will scrub inbound and outbound leads prior to Borrower being transferred to initiate application
  • Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management
  • If working from home, you will need a quiet workspace so you can focus on our customers. You’ll also need a minimum of 100 MBPS download/10 MBPS upload speed from your internet provider. A wired connection is required.
  • We’ll provide you with all the equipment you need! Monitors, laptop, keyboard, mouse, headset, and an amazing new hire training experience. You’ll also have the best coaches to help you deliver the best service!


How You’ll Do It

  • Collects documents required to render an initial credit decision.
  • Validates data entry points and issues required loan disclosures
  • Handles customer inquires on account status and requirements, triages technical questions.
  • Pre-qualifies customer loan inquires.
  • Reviews and requests data to adhere to regulatory requirements.


Qualifications You’ll Need
The Basic

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • In lieu of education, 2+ years Customer Service or mortgage related position

  • 1+ years Customer Service or mortgage related position
  • Sales experience

This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008 and is subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. As such, an employment offer for this position is contingent on Discover's review of your criminal history, credit report, information available through NMLS, and any other information relevant to a determination by Discover that you demonstrate financial responsibility, good character, and general fitness for the position. Your continued employment in this position would be contingent upon compliance with the SAFE Act and the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act Loan Originator requirements. Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $17.50 to $24.77. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
