  • Position Summary:  Under general supervision, builds custom pallets and skids to fit the dimensions of orders. Operates general hand tools. Keeps track of, and reports inventory needs.

    Responsibility:

    • Experience working with hand tools.
    • Builds custom pallets & skids per dimensions given from the assembly department.
    • Keeps track of lumber and supply inventory.
    • Reports lumber and supply need to supervisor.
    • Performs occasional clean-up of area.
    • Follows safety protocols.
    • Operate forklift when needed.
    • Support and follow company policies and procedures.

    Skills/Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or GED.
    • Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Ability to read and use a tape measure.
    • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
    • Construction experience is a plus.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication, and organizational skills.
    • Demonstrated commitment to safety.
    • Forklift certified.
    • Must be comfortable working on your feet for 8+ hours.
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Must pass pre-employment and random drug screen.

    Working Conditions:

    • Work is performed in a production environment.
    • Occasional exposure to industrial operations (temperatures, noise, moisture, moving machinery).
