Job Description:

As a Commercial Analyst at Metroplex, you will be a critical member of our Commercial (Front Office) Team. Your role is to drive success by planning, analyzing, and providing valuable reports that support our fuel analytics and commercial initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in problem-solving, resource optimization, project management, and cross-departmental coordination to ensure smooth execution of our business & commercial development efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzes supply sources to ensure downstream supply demands are met in a cost-effective manner.
• Conducts analysis using various pricing & freight mechanisms for both short- and long-term opportunities.
• Supports daily operations by collaborating with Supply Managers & Traders.
• Manage long-term and short-term projects collaborating between Metroplex Energy and RaceTrac.
• Creates visual aids and reporting tools using Microsoft Office Programs, specifically Power Bi.
• Assists in Contract Management from initial draft to full compliance.
• Collaborates with Accounting Department to review and resolve invoicing errors from vendors.
• Finds and analyzes new supply opportunities by reviewing both micro and macro indicators on a regular basis.
• Monitors daily, weekly, and monthly supply plan execution across multiple markets, products, and sources.
• Recognizes and analyzes arbitrage opportunities to supply fuel at optimal price.
• Manages various external relationships with vendors and subscriptions.
• Assists in month-end close.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• 0-3 years of professional experience in finance, logistics, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Power BI, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
