About the Role:

This is highly skilled Cloud Network Specialist role. Will be having  extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud network infrastructures using AWS, Azure, and Palo Alto, with a strong background in traditional networking technologies.

About the Team:

The FIS Public Cloud team at FIS builds cloud deployed environments within Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS and Google Cloud.  The team engages with various stakeholders like architects, product teams and management to deploy optimal solutions in the public cloud.

What you will be doing:

• Work closely with architecture and business teams to understand their requirements and translate them into robust, reliable and highly available network designs.
• Architect, deploy, and manage cloud network solutions across AWS, Azure, and Palo Alto platforms.
• Serve as a technical point of escalation and drive incidents/problems until resolution utilizing advice and assistance from cloud service providers, vendors and other team members as required.
• Maintain documentation of system designs, configurations, and procedures.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior network engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Will be working in 1PM to 10 PM IST Shifts

What you bring :

• 8 to 12 years of experience in cloud network engineering, with a focus on AWS, Azure, and Palo Alto.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience designing and deploying the networking constructs within some or all of the major public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) - including hybrid cloud networking or multi-cloud connectivity solutions (e.g., using SD-WAN, Transit Gateway, Interconnects, VPNs, or Direct Connect/ExpressRoute).
• Network Security: Expertise in Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, and Zero Trust network architecture.
• Experience using Terraform to provision and manage cloud network (VPN/VPC, Vnet peering. subnets, NSG,ASG) resources deployed to public cloud platforms.
• Monitoring and Management: Familiarity with network monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, and AWS CloudWatch.
• Scripting: Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, and Bash for automation and integration tasks.  Protocols: In-depth knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, and OSPF.
