The Sr. Business Process Analyst will work with all areas of the People team to drive optimization through process, data, and technology solutions. A successful candidate will have in-depth work experience with Workday as well as have experience leading and executing projects across an HR team while meeting deadlines, milestones, and KPIs. They will be highly collaborative and facilitative, comfortable engaging in and initiating discussions about process improvement and will demonstrate exceptional listening skills to allow them to collect the right information to resolve issues quickly and thoroughly. The individual in this role will have exceptional initiative skills. They are proactive about completing their own work and at the same time, recognize opportunities that may benefit the team or Sunrun. The Process engineer will introduce those opportunities by putting together a proposal and socializing it with the team members and stakeholders.
Understand the current process flows in Workday as well as understand data usage, identifying efficiency improvement opportunities, then leading cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
Collaborate with PLT to identify areas for process improvement opportunities in Workday
Facilitate process re-designs and improvements that improve ee experience and decrease time to completion.
Develop test cases for UAT when configuration changes are made, conduct user acceptance testing, build and update user documentation
Monitor and evaluate the results of your interventions and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Conduct process analyses to identify gaps, inefficiencies and bottlenecks to determine and prioritize the most impactful gaps and opportunities to redesign vastly improved end state processes
Lead cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define objectives, scope, and deliverables for Workday process optimization initiatives
Design and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps and workflows
Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies to ensure successful implementation, training, adoption and sustainability of new processes
Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in HR process optimization, incorporating learnings into continuous improvement efforts
Collaborate with the People Tech team to leverage technology and automation solutions for process optimization
Assists less experienced staff in understanding Workday, manages small to medium to issues, and exercises independent judgment on escalating issues to more senior staff
Participate in Workday access audits
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
3-5 years of related experience
2+ years experience working in an HR Operations team using Workday
Advanced knowledge of Workday - must have functional knowledge of Workday HCM and experience gathering requirements for new configurations in Workday
Experienced in business process re-engineering and documenting of current and future state
Exceptional project management, highly organized with solid attention to detail
Advanced skills with Excel
Ability to create and coordinate business requirements for processes
Experience working with business users and technical staff to develop strategies for system updates

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:
$73,476.90 to $97,969.20Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards.
