DRAM Senior/Principal Product Engineer – Global DFT Alignment

As a DRAM Senior/Principal Product Engineer working in the Global DFT Alignment team, you will collaborate with Global Design For Test (DFT), Test Development, Silicon Strategy teams across DRAM & Emerging Memory portfolio to streamline cross-portfolio review of test coverage and promote business process to collectively implement test flow alignment. You will also collaborate and leverage engineering resources & equipment from DFT Alignment Analysis, Dispo Alignment, Silicon Strategy and Global Product and DFT counterparts throughout the phases of Test alignment. You will have expert capability on the Probe, Burn or Automated Test Equipment (ATE) code and testing techniques used to validate and ensure device performance.  In this role, your additional responsibilities include an in-depth understanding of the details of general device functionality specific to semiconductor memory products, as well as understanding schematics and signal integrity.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Drive Global Test Alignment efforts across DRAM & Emerging Memory portfolio
• Drive data collection and analysis to support fanning-in and fanning-out of Best-Known Method (BKM) Test Spec Guardband/Trim methods across DRAM technologies
• Promote optimal collaboration with Global Micron sites DFT on wholistic Test Alignment (BKM) efforts by:
  • Following on requests and communicating findings effectively
  • Consolidate all alignment activity and broadcast changes in regular cadence via test alignment forum
• Develop BKM Test Alignment strategy to achieve DRAM cross technology test alignment and closure metric
• Develop and drive implementation of tools and methodology for Test coverage alignment
• Collaborate with Silicon Strategy team on Design, Device and characterization needs to support DFT alignment efforts across DRAM technologies
• Collaborate with DFT team on standardizing Test Spec Guardband/Trim methods
• Collaborate with manufacturing sites DFT/Test Development to implement cross-technology alignment

Preferred Experience:

• Technical leadership experience preferred
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across multiple sites
• 5+ years of Expert Level DRAM capability on the Probe, Burn or ATE code and testing techniques, and Failure Analysis with Micron Bench Test Equipment or equivalent Automated Test Equipment
• Background with Micron Test Flow and Patterns
• DRAM Process Experience
• Circuit Level Debug Experience
• Circuit Simulation using Cadence or other industry standard tools
• Exposure to working knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL), Python, Perl and Tableau
• Experience in designing and working with test data & data warehouse based solutions is a plus

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering or a related field of study
