The Program Governance Leader is responsible for managing and motivating a growing team of highly capable and talented Program Directors and Managers who oversee a complex portfolio of software implementation projects and initiatives across Intapp’s premier clients.  This role serves as a coach and advisor while establishing a highly functional and accountable team and holds primary responsibility for team success and client satisfaction.

We’re seeking a senior professional with a proven track record of leading large client-facing teams and developing & successfully deploying strategic program governance frameworks.

What you will do:

  • Lead and mentor a global team of program managers and program directors, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.

  • Guide team on best practices in leading through change, navigating complex technical challenges, and collaborating across stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate portfolio risks, ensuring proactive risk management strategies are in place.

  • When needed, dive into the details in a “hands on” capacity to assist Program Directors and Program Managers during critical program phases to ensure that deadlines are met, client expectations are managed, and all risks are mitigated, paving the way for successful delivery.

  • Establish a best-in-class framework for strategic Program Governance, to be consistently applied to Intapp’s most complex Client engagements.  Ensure alignment and adherence to the framework.

  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation through identifying governance process gaps and partnering with peers and other Intapp stakeholders.

  • Influence senior level leadership (internal and external), as needed, to gain win/win resolutions for client escalations.

  • Resource management,  matching the experience and skills of the Program Governance team with Clients, programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment and understanding of  assignments; this includes identifying any resource gaps based on forward-looking pipeline.

  • Leverage and incorporate innovative methodologies and best practices to accelerate delivery and time to value to customer.

  • Identify new opportunities to add value to the client and collaborate with the services segment leader and the account managing director on business development initiatives.

  • Work seamlessly across different regions, understanding and addressing cultural aspects which influence program governance results.

  • Foster a cohesive global program governance community through knowledge sharing and collaboration platforms.

What you will need:

  • 15+ years’ experience working in Professional Services, with a significant period of time preferably within a SaaS organization and/or within global professional services consulting firms and/or large-scale systems integrators.

  • 12+ years’ experience in project management required, with a demonstrated track record of successful delivery of increasingly complex programs.

  • Proven experience in global program management leadership roles is strongly preferred.

  • 8+ years managing and leading large teams; preferably a client-facing program or portfolio management team

  • Demonstrated ability to develop a positive, inclusive and healthy team working environment

  • Legal, Risk, Accountancy or Strategic Consulting experience a plus

  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, in customer-facing roles.

  • Strategic mindset with a focus on achieving business objectives.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must

  • Results oriented, resourceful, comfortable working under tight deadlines with a demanding set of internal and external customers in a start-up environment

  • Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to multi-task

  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • Excellent hands-on skills with common office automation products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio)

  • Palo Alto, New York or Charlotte, NC is preferred
