In this role, you have the opportunity to
Join the PMO group within Grooming & Beauty and you will lead a group of R&D project leaders. As PMO (Project Management Office) we lead the E2E (End-to-End) project teams to deliver the relevant propositions (products, solutions, and services) to consumers at the right moment, meeting safety and quality standards. As the world around us is changing rapidly and our proposition and products becoming more complex, a strong Group Leader (GL) is essential for us to help drive projects in an E2E perspective.
You are responsible for
- Leading – together with other PMO GLs and the PMO leader – the daily operation of the PMO department.
- Continuous improvement of the E2E project leadership expertise within the group in order to drive consumer & business value
- (CG80) End-to-end delivery of New Product Introductions and communication in scope cross categories and regions
You are a part of
- Grooming & Beauty Research & Development team. This RnD team ensures the E2E development of the products and solutions within Grooming & Beauty which can vary between products, native apps, web solutions, voice etc. We aim to develop and deliver innovations that make a meaningful difference to people’s lives. The sector builds on a deep understanding of people’s needs and aspirations to create innovations that help consumers achieve their lifestyle ambitions.
- As PMO, we want to be recognized as the experts in project & program execution across the E2E chain. We enable success by being transparent, engaged on all levels & E2E, delivering on promise. We are responsible to create a clear and standardized E2E communication on product roadmaps and market commitment, ensuring a reliable Product roadmap delivery. We drive consumer & business value with speed - reliability - E2E transparency.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experiences:
- Master’s degree in a technical subject, preferably mechanical engineering.
- +5 years in demonstrated ability in handling international multidisciplinary projects, and/or +5 years as a people manager preferably in Business to Consumer, whereas experience in medical domain is an advantage.
- Engineering experience in product development is required, whereas experience in production is an advantage.
- Organizational sensitivity and ability to communicate on all levels within the organization.
- Next to your technical background you can look from a business perspective. You have a basic understanding of other disciplines, e.g. marketing, purchasing, design.
- You are eager to learn and have an entrepreneurial mindset / can-do attitude.
Your tasks include:
- Coach, stimulate and supervise a group of PMs to develop in their job and in their career.
- Drive PM competence management and build Entrepreneurial PM capabilities of the group to bring them to a higher performance level in leading E2E project teams.
- Drive and guide operational excellence in project & program execution using the I2M process framework (Innovation to Market).
- Drive E2E collaboration in project & program execution enabling timely deliver on quality.
- Own as a Subject Matter Expert PM swimming lane within the PDLM process PDLM process (Product Development Launch & Maintenance)
- Drive continuous improvement and collaboration within PMO department together with other PMO GLs and I2M Excellence Leader and counterparts in other business units.
- Contribute to an engaged, innovative, and inspiring working environment in the department as well as across departments.
- You support in developing and executing project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely delivery of new value propositions and successful completion of projects.
- You guide in ensuring compliance within projects and continuous improvement of relevant internal policies, procedures, and standards. You keep abreast of developments in project and quality management tools and processes.
