Team/Role Overview
This role will support the Spread Products, Commodities and Markets Funding & Liquidity Management Lead Finance Officer team within the Markets Finance organisation. The Markets Finance analyst provides the Product Lead Finance Officer, the Markets CFO, Heads of the various businesses and other senior management (Markets Leadership, CFO, CEO etc.) with analysis and insight into Market's financial results and projections. Through this analysis, the team facilitates decision making to drive performance and strategy of global products, regions and functions, and also for use with external analysts, regulators and investors. Deliverables include, but are not limited to, monthly performance analyses, target setting and forward-looking analytics for a variety of internal and external stakeholders. The team also sets balance sheet and capital consumption targets, manages the annual budget, quarterly outlooks and forecasts and competitor analytics to drive the long term performance of the franchise.
What you’ll do
The Financial Planning and Analysis Lead Analyst is a professional role responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citi’s financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to contribute to directional strategy as well as utilise in-depth specialty knowledge to provide advice/counsel on the evaluation of financial reports of Citi’s current and projected performance.
