Boeing is seeking a Senior Manager for Value Stream Integration (Level L) to join our team. This position will lead our Business Operations, Business Program Management (non-construction), and Executive Support teams within Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) to enable our function to effectively manage a complex global portfolio of services, run a healthy business, and support our executive leadership teams. Your work location may be Seattle, Everett, Renton or Tukwila, Washington; El Segundo, Seal Beach, or Huntington Beach, California; Hazelwood/St. Louis, Missouri; Ridley Park, Pennsylvania; North Charleston, South Carolina; Mesa, Arizona; Arlington, Virginia; or Plano, Texas.

This position will be responsible for daily leadership of complex business process management systems, delivery of critical organizational objectives, as well as execution of highly complex and cross-functional strategic objectives; end-to-end from strategy development, stakeholder alignment, work execution management, communications, and ensuring lasting sustainment of change and improvements. In addition, it serves a strategic leadership purpose within the extended leadership team to help shape the future of the function.
Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) supports the company’s large domestic and international footprint as part of Boeing's Enterprise Services function, which includes Indirect Supply Chain, Executive Flight Operations, and Executive Protection. You will partner closely with all aspects of the organization's executive and senior management teams within Enterprise Services.
You will use your influence and leadership to engage and coordinate with teams located across the domestic United States with support to numerous Boeing sites. The major sites are located in the Puget Sound area of Washington State; El Segundo, Seal Beach, and Huntington Beach, California; St. Louis area, Missouri; Ridley Park, Pennsylvania; and North Charleston, South Carolina; in addition, support to other U.S sites. It will require semi-regular travel to visit stakeholders at these sites.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead Business Operations team to deliver on its value for our function, including:
Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor a high-performing operations team, ensuring alignment with company objectives; Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the operations team; Drive cross-functional collaboration between departments to achieve seamless operational integration
Risk Management & Compliance: Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize operational risks and ensure business continuity; Establish and maintain systems for reporting and addressing operational risks and issues
Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities for process improvements & lead initiatives to streamline operations across departments; Implement best practices in operations management, using lean improvements to better enable business success; Oversee development & deployment of operational metrics to track performance and drive continuous improvement
Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement operational strategies that support long-term company growth and profitability goals; Collaborate with executive leadership to set strategic priorities and allocate resources effectively; Monitor industry trends and innovations to keep the function competitive and forward-thinking
Lead Program Management team which enables each Service Tower of GREF to effectively improve its own service delivery through continuous improvement, in addition to:
PMO Establishment & Governance: Develop and implement the PMO structure, including frameworks, methodologies, and governance processes; Define and enforce project management standards, ensuring consistency and quality across all projects
Portfolio Management: Oversee the function’s portfolio of projects and programs, ensuring alignment with business strategy and objectives; Manage portfolio lifecycle, from initiation through execution and closure, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery; Regularly review & assess the portfolio to ensure it meets organizational goals and provides value
Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed for success; Foster a collaborative environment, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices within the PMO team; Drive a culture of accountability and excellence in project delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Serve as primary point of contact for project-related communication across the organization; Engage with executive leadership, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and opportunities; Ensure clear & consistent communication with all stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and team members
Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, tools, and best practices in project and program management; Drive innovation within the PMO, exploring new methodologies, tools, and technologies to enhance project delivery; Lead efforts to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and agility of the PMO
Organizational Leadership
Support strategic organizational change through close partnership with the Change Management Office (CMO)
Acquire resources for organizational activities; develop integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures; guide development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, peers, and business partners
Manage, lead, develop and motivate employees and mid-level managers
This role will involve up to 25% domestic travel (and likely more during first months of training/onboarding).
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience leading and driving organizational strategies and processes
Experience managing people
5+ years of program or project management experience
5+ years of experience using strategic thinking and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher
Training, education, and/or certifications in a related field
Experience in global real estate or facilities

Summary pay range: $134,300 – $194,350
