Linklaters can only achieve its vision and ambition with the support of outstanding colleagues in our business.  As a Paralegal / Support Lawyer you can gain experience within a Magic Circle law firm, working in-house or in an alternative legal service provider environment. You will get experience working with Transactional team, as well as working closely with Linklaters clients, providing advice, training, assistance and offering exceptional client service.

Who are we looking for?

  • LPC/SQE1/BPTC or Qualified Lawyer
  • Support Lawyer or Paralegal with at least 2+ years experience
  • Top academics only
  • The ideal candidate must perform well on attention to detail, work ethic and technical abilities
  • Initial 6 month contract with the view to extension
  • Skills and experience:
    • Familiarity with financial regulations and legislation applicable to leveraged finance transactions.
    • Experience in drafting and reviewing legal documentation such as non-disclosure agreements, loan agreements, and security documents.
    • Knowledge of the principles and structures of leveraged finance, including terms like LBOs (Leveraged Buyouts), credit agreements, and intercreditor agreements.
    • Strong organisational skills to keep track of deadlines, document changes, and client communications.
    • Understanding of the financial services industry and the commercial drivers behind leveraged finance transactions.
