With the transformation of our One Wabtec Services Aftermarket Distribution in 2022, our business is well positioned for future growth.  The role of the integration leader is to support our centralized distribution network in North America and abroad. The integration leader will prioritize and assess opportunities based on customer impact, business growth potential and complexity that will result in timelines and resource planning required to execute distribution opportunities.  Successful support will include business savings, aftermarket order volume growth and resultant distribution network productivity.

What do we want to know about you?

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Materials Management
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Operations Leadership
  • *** Travel 50%

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Prior operational / distribution center leadership experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize lean, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Demonstrated project management skillset
  • Ability to adapt and flex in a dynamic environment
  • Strong understanding of operations and business financials
  • Proficient in Oracle ERP
  • Proficient in data analytics, systems navigation, and information management
  • Strong understanding of multi-site distribution operations
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

What will your typical day look like?

  • Contribute to a business culture and appreciation for One Wabtec distribution; educating and emphasizing the benefits to our customers and our business.
  • Identify integration opportunities and develop criteria for engagement including cost, savings, resources required, prework expectations and associated timelines.
  • Lean transformation model to organize and solve problems to improve internal/external customer experiences.  Identify wastes throughout the supply chain and coordinate efforts to be world class.
  • Digitize warehouse management system; establish baseline systems opportunities to improve current Oracle system to improve overall function within the Distribution Centers
  • Provide recommendations for automation within the distribution facilities to improve on safety, efficiencies, quality and sustainability within the network.
  • Successfully project management projects within distribution as well as supply chain to be clear on scop, cost and timing of projects.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to transition teams ensuring clear communication, timeline expectations and results.
  • Work with a variety of cross-functional leaders to achieve business level targets including annual savings and volume/revenue growth.
  • Integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
  • Coordinate transitions to ensure timelines are met and customer impact is negligible
  • Other duties as assigned
